DTC C1A21: Object Recognition Camera [09/2015 - ]: Description
The driving support ECU assembly uses the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, driver monitor camera and object recognition camera to detect obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle, and detect the direction that the driver's head is facing. Based on this information, the driving support ECU assembly sends pre-collision control operation signals.
If the driving support ECU assembly detects a malfunction in the object recognition camera, DTC C1A21 is output.
