Data List / Active Test [10/2014 - ]

  1. DATA LIST 

    HINT: 

    Using the Techstream to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.

    NOTE:

    In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Data List.
    6. Check the values by referring to the table below.

      Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Data List

      IG Switch Engine switch condition ON/OFF ON: Engine switch on (IG)
      OFF: Engine switch off      		 "OFF" is also displayed for this item when the engine switch is on (ACC).
      Passenger Buckle SW Front seat belt assembly RH buckle switch Set, Unset or NG Set: The front seat belt assembly RH is fastened
      Unset: The front seat belt assembly RH is not fastened
      NG: Data is not determined      		 -
      Passenger Classification Front passenger classification AM50/AF05/Child/CRS/OFF AM50: Adult is seated
      AF05: Adult is seated
      Child: Child is seated
      CRS: Child restraint system is installed
      OFF: Vacant      		 -
      Sensor Range Info Sensor range information OK/NG OK: The value of an occupant classification sensor is within the range
      NG: The value of an classification detection sensor is over the range      		 As sensor range is not set, OK is always displayed
      FL Sensor Range Info Front left sensor range information OK OK As front left sensor range is not set, OK is always displayed
      RL Sensor Range Info Rear left sensor range information OK OK As rear left sensor range is not set, OK is always displayed
