DTC U0235: Lost Communication with Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor [09/2017 - 05/2019]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTCs (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2017 - 05/2019]
Body Electrical > Pre-Collision 2 > Clear DTCs
- Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
- Check for DTCs.

- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS MAIN LINES (MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the B13 millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

(to Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B13-5 (CA1P) - B13-6 (CA1N) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω - Connect the B13 millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the B13 millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B13-1 (SGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B13-8 (IGB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V - Connect the B13 millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.
