AWD Warning does not Come ON [09/2014 - 09/2020]: Procedure

1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2019 - 09/2020]

   HINT: 

   When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

   Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING). Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - 11/2017]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - 10/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2018 - ]

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Active Test

   Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Active Test

   4WD Warning Light	AWD warning (multi-information display)	Warning ON/OFF	Observe the multi-information display.

6. When performing the 4WD Warning Light Active Test, check 4WD Warning Light in the Data List.
