AWD Warning does not Come ON [09/2014 - 09/2020]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2019 - 09/2020]
HINT:
When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

- Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.
- INSPECT AWD WARNING
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Active Test
Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Active Test
Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note 4WD Warning Light AWD warning (multi-information display) Warning ON/OFF Observe the multi-information display. - When performing the 4WD Warning Light Active Test, check 4WD Warning Light in the Data List.
