DTC B2274: ACC Monitor Malfunction [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE) 

    See step  1

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR IN CIRCUIT CONNECTED TO POWER SOURCE 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND)

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the O6 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the 4B instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O6-9 (ACCD) - 4B-19 Always Below 1 Ω
      4B-7 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O6-9 (ACCD) or 4B-19 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (ACC RELAY) 
    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly)
      - -

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4B-19 - 4B-7 20°C (68°F) 130.92 to 190.74 Ω
      4E-1 - 4C-20 Battery voltage not applied between terminals 4B-19 and 4B-7 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage applied between terminals 4B-19 and 4B-7 Below 1 Ω

    REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

  5. CHECK SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Reconnect the O6 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

      *a Component with harness connected
      (Certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly))
    2. Install the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2014 - ]

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O6-9 (ACCD) - Body ground Engine switch off → Engine switch on (ACC) 1 V or less → 8.5 V or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK
