Installation [09/2015 - 12/2017]: Procedure

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.4 N.m (86 kgf/cm, 74 in.lbf)
2. Type A:
  1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.
    Torque: 43 N.m (438 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf)
  2. Temporarily install the generator assembly bracket with the 2 bolts.
  3. Fully tighten the 2 bolts.
    Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
3. Type B:
  1. Install the generator assembly bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.
    Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
  2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.
    Torque: 43 N.m (438 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf)
  3. Install the nut.
    Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
4. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.
5. Connect the compressor and magnetic clutch connector.
6. Connect the generator assembly connector.
7. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.
  Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf)
8. Close the terminal cap.

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
