Calibration [09/2015 - ]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a known good one from another vehicle or the acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly*1 or yaw rate sensor assembly*2) is replaced, perform calibration.
    2. Follow the chart to perform calibration.
      Part Replaced Necessary Operation
      4WD ECU assembly (When replaced with a known good one from another vehicle) Clear zero point calibration data
      Acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly)*1
      Acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor assembly)*2
      1. Clear zero point calibration data
      2. Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration

        Refer to CALIBRATION [09/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to CALIBRATION [08/2019 - ]

      HINT: 

      • When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a new one, calibration is unnecessary.
      • *1: w/ Optitron Meter Type
      • *2: w/ TFT Meter Type
  2. PERFORM CALIBRATION 
    1. Clear the zero point calibration data.
      1. Turn the engine switch off.
      2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      4. Turn the Techstream on.
      5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Utility / Reset Memory.

        Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Utility 

        Tester Display
        Reset Memory
      6. Operate the Techstream to clear the data.
