Freeze Frame Data [09/2015 - ]

  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. When a DTC is stored, the 4WD ECU assembly stores the current vehicle state as Freeze Frame Data.

      HINT: 

      • When Freeze Frame Data is stored along with the DTC, the Freeze Frame Data is not updated until it is cleared.
      • "Number of IG ON" is not stored as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Trouble Codes.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes 

    5. According to the display on the Techstream, select the DTCs with Freeze Frame Data.

      When the accelerator pedal is released: 0% Changes in accordance with the operation of the accelerator pedal.

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    NOTE:

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the Freeze Frame Data.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
