Monitor Description

The ECM continuously monitors its internal processors (CPUs) and heated oxygen sensor transistors. This self-check ensures that the ECM is functioning properly.

P060796 Control Module Performance Bank 1 Component Internal Failure Either of the following conditions is met (1 trip detection logic):
  • The ECM CPUs malfunction.
  • The heated oxygen sensor transistor (built into the ECM) malfunctions.
  • ECM
  • Heated oxygen sensor (sensor 2)
  • Exhaust gas leak
