How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

    2. Check the fuses and relays.
    3. Check the connector connections and terminals to make sure that there are no abnormalities such as loose connections, deformation, etc.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      HINT: 

      Refer to CAN Bus Check in CAN Communication System.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2023 - ]

      OK

      CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Result

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2023 - ]

  4. CHECK DTC (ETHERNET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)* 

    HINT: 

    Refer to DTC Check / Clear.

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2021 - ]

    1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for at least 5 minutes.
    2. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Ethernet Switch1 > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > Ethernet Switch2 > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs output from Ethernet switch 1 and Ethernet switch 2 A
      DTC output from Ethernet switch 1 or Ethernet switch 2 B

    Result: 

    GO TO ETHERNET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2023 - ]

  5. CHECK DTC* 

    HINT: 

    Refer to DTC Check / Clear.

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2021 - ] 

    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Body Electrical > Spatial Information Service > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Spatial Information Service > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Spatial Information Service > Trouble Codes

    Result:

  6. CHECK FOR VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (RoB)* 
    1. Check for vehicle control history (RoB) and note any codes that are output.

      Body Electrical > Spatial Information Service > Utility 

      Tester Display
      Vehicle Control History (RoB)
    2. If the vehicle control history (RoB) is output, record it.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Vehicle control history (RoB) is not output A
      Vehicle control history (RoB) is output B

    Result:
