- FREEZE FRAME DATA
- When a DTC is stored, the 4WD ECU assembly stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.
HINT:
Freeze Frame Data at the time a DTC is stored:
- When the 4WD ECU assembly stores data at the time a DTC is stored, no updates will be performed until the data is cleared.
- "Number of IG ON" is not stored as Freeze Frame Data.
- When a DTC is stored, the 4WD ECU assembly stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.
- CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes
- According to the display on the Techstream, select the trouble code data display with freeze frame data.

- CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA NOTE:
Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
