DTC C1A4A: Skid Control Buzzer Circuit [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Active Test (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

   DSS Signal Buzzer	Skid control buzzer	ON/OFF	The buzzer can be heard.

   OK

   Skid control buzzer sounds.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM 

(Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the brake actuator assembly with a new one (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

Result: 

NEXT 

See step  3

1. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

   OK

   DTC C1A4A is not output.

   NOTE:

   When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ). If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.

END (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WAS DEFECTIVE) 

Result:

REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
