DTC C1A31: Driver Monitor Camera [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the G62 ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the G63 camera connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G62-17 (LS) - G63-3 (LS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G62-6 (CB+) - G63-1 (CB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C62-22 (CV+) - G63-4 (CV+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G62-8 (CGND) - G63-2 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G62-23 (CV-) - G63-5 (CV-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G62-17 (LS) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G62-6 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   C62-22 (CV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G62-8 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G62-23 (CV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Remove the driver monitor ECU with its connector still connected (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   G62-17 (LS) - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	0.4 V or higher
   G62-6 (CB+) - G62-8 (CGND)	Engine switch on (IG)	5.5 to 6.5 V

REPLACE DRIVER MONITOR ECU

1. Replace the driver monitor camera (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

1. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

   OK

   DTC C1A31 is not output.

Result: 

OK
