Reassembly [09/2018 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (w/o AFS) 
    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.
  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (w/o AFS) 
    1. for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light:
      1. Insert the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

        *a Aiming Screw
      2. Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to engage the shaft.

        HINT: 

        Turn the aiming screw the same number of times as it was turned during removal.

      3. Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration and engage the pin to install the headlight leveling motor to the headlight assembly.

        *a Aiming Screw

        HINT: 

        When installing the headlight leveling motor of the headlight assembly RH, turn the headlight leveling motor in the opposite direction of the arrow (3) shown in the illustration.

      4. Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (4) shown in the illustration to install it.

        HINT: 

        Turn the aiming screw the same number of times as it was turned during removal.

      5. Connect the connector.

    2. for LED Type Turn Signal Light:
      1. Insert the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

        *a Aiming Screw
      2. Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to engage the shaft.

        HINT: 

        Turn the aiming screw the same number of times as it was turned during removal.

      3. Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration and engage the pin to install the headlight leveling motor to the headlight assembly.

        HINT: 

        When installing the headlight leveling motor of the headlight assembly RH, turn the headlight leveling motor in the opposite direction of the arrow (3) shown in the illustration.

      4. Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (4) shown in the illustration to install it.

        HINT: 

        Turn the aiming screw the same number of times as it was turned during removal.

      5. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET (for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light) 
  4. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light) 
    1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.
    2. Turn the front turn signal light socket with the front turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration to install them as a unit.

    3. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER 
    1. Turn the No. 1 headlight back cover as shown in the illustration to install it.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET (w/o AFS)

  7. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CORD (w/o AFS) 
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o AFS)
