Removal [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 6 claws to remove the 2 rear light covers.

  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Push the rear combination light assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the pin.
      NOTE:

      To prevent the rear combination light assembly from springing out and falling when it is disengaged, place your hand on the rear combination light assembly and press down gently.

      HINT: 

      Pushing on the portion A in the illustration toward the rear of the vehicle will make disengagement of the pin easier.

    4. Disengage the 3 guides to disconnect the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.
    5. Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

    6. Turn the cap as shown in the illustration to disconnect it.

    7. Disconnect the connector to remove the rear combination light assembly.
  3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Disengage the guide to remove the rear bumper upper retainer.
  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  8. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  9. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  11. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    for Fixed Seat Type: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

    for Fold Down Seat Type: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 08/2015]

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]

  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT SUB FLOOR PANEL (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM PARTITION COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  18. REMOVE FRONT UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  19. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  20. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  21. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the grommet to remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
