DTC B22E7: Sub Battery Module Overcurrent Malfunction (Discharge) [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
5. Read the DTCs.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B22E7 is output	A
   DTC B22E7 and other DTCs are output	B

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs.

   HINT: 

   If DTC B22E7 remains, turn the backup relay off to clear the DTC.

   Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

   Result

3. Start the engine.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Sub Battery Module / Data List / Sub Battery Module Current.

   Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Sub Battery Module Current

5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

INSPECT CHARGING SYSTEM 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs.

   HINT: 

   If DTC B22E7 remains, turn the backup relay off to clear the DTC.

   Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
