DTC U0300-57: Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility Invalid / Incompatible Software Component [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, check for hybrid control system DTCs.

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes

GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
5. Check DTCs.
6. Turn the power switch off.

   OK

   DTCs indicating a vehicle information mismatch with the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly are not output by any ECU other than the forward recognition camera.

REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [03/2018 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision System / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   HINT: 

   • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera is different than the actual vehicle specifications, the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera may be incorrect. Check for DTCs and replace the forward recognition camera if necessary.
   • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera matches the actual vehicle specifications, the installed hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is incompatible. Replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly with a correct one.
