Speaker Circuit [11/2017 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. CHECK MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK SPEAKER (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "System Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Speaker in Operation Check.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2017 - 09/2020]

    2. Perform the operation check above and determine the speaker that is not operating.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the T20 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the O65 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    3. Disconnect the O54 and O55 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T20-13 (FR+) - O65-2 (SPI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      T20-28 (FR-) - O65-3 (SPI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      O65-5 (SPO+) - O54-2 (+) Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Remove the DCM (telematics transceiver).

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - 09/2020]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the T20 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the O54 and O55 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
