DTC B2781: Open / Short in Steering Lock ECU [09/2014 - 01/2023]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, check if LIN communication DTC B2785 is output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ]

   HINT: 

   If a LIN communication DTC is output, perform troubleshooting for the LIN communication system.

   Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - ]

GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (DTC B2785). Refer to  DTC B2785: Communication Malfunction between ECUs Connected by LIN [09/2014 - 01/2023]

REPLACE STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [09/2014 - 03/2019]  , or refer to  DISASSEMBLY [03/2019 - 01/2023]
