DTC B2788: IG2 Signal Malfunction [09/2014 - 01/2023]: Procedure
- INSPECT STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE MODE SIGNAL)
- Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
- Disconnect the O27 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O27-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the O27 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly) connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O27-6 (IG2) - O27-1 (GND) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V O27-6 (IG2) - O27-1 (GND) Engine switch off Below 1 V Result

REPLACE STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to DISASSEMBLY [03/2019 - 01/2023]
