Installation [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the knock control sensor.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2018 - 07/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - ]

Install the knock control sensor to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the bolt so that the knock control sensor installation position is as shown in the illustration.

Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)

NOTE:

If the knock control sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
Make sure that the knock control sensor is in the correct position.

Connect the knock control sensor connector.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the knock control sensor.
