AWD Warning Remains ON [08/2020 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DYNAMIC TORQUE CONTROL AWD SYSTEM)
- Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2022 - ]
- Check if the dynamic torque control AWD system DTC is output.
Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes

When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

- Disconnect the G131 4WD ECU assembly connector.

(to 4WD ECU Assembly) - Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Data List.
- According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.
