DTC C1A19-00: Front Side Radar Sensor (Module "B") Beam Axis Misalignment (Horizontal) [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Check the condition of the front bumper around the front side sensors.

   HINT: 

   When mud, snow, ice, a sticker, etc. is covering the sensor or its surrounding area on the front bumper, the front side sensor may store this DTC by mistake.

   Body Electrical > Front Side Radar "B" > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   There are scratches or dents on the front bumper around the sensors.	B
   No abnormalities.

REPLACE FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR (B). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

1. Clear the mud, snow, ice, stickers, etc. from the front bumper.
2. b. In accordance with the display of the GTS, perform "Front Side Radar "B" Beam Axis Adjustment".

   Body Electrical > Front Side Radar "B" > Utility 

   Tester Display
   Front Side Radar "B" Beam Axis Display

   Body Electrical > Front Side Radar "B" > Utility 

   Tester Display
   Front Side Radar "B" Beam Axis Adjustment

   OK

   Front side radar sensor beam axis display results are within acceptable limits.

   HINT: 

   Before replacing the front side radar sensor (B), visually check for damage to the stud bolts or area surrounding the front side radar sensor (B).

   If there is any damage to the area surrounding the front side radar sensor (B), perform front side radar sensor installation condition inspection and adjust according to the result.
