      Result

      Result Proceed to
One of the Data List items has a count of 1 or more. A
      Other than above B

    Result:

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2018 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 10/2023]

    Result:

    See step  2

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
    1. Check if the system stopped operating under severe driving conditions, such as on a rocky or muddy road.

      HINT:

When the load torque is very large, such as when driving on bad roads, the actuator can overheat easily and the system is stopped to prevent overheating.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
The system stopped under non-severe conditions. A
The system stopped under severe driving conditions. B

    Result:

    See step  4

    Result:

    See step  3

  3. CHECK REAR STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY
    1. Perform actuator forced activation and check if abnormal noises or vibration comes from the rear steering link assembly.

      Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [12/2017 - 10/2023]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
No abnormal noise or vibration A
Abnormal noise or vibration coming from rear steering link assembly B

    Result:

    REPLACE REAR STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

    Result:

    See step  4

  4. CHECK REAR STEERING OPERATION
    1. Perform actuator forced activation and confirm the operation of the rear steering.

      Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [12/2017 - 10/2023]

      Chassis > DRS > Utility
