DTC C1B14: Stroke Sensor Circuit; DTC C1B24: Stroke Sensor(Actuator Angle Indeterminate) [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Description

When the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) detects a problem with the stroke sensor circuit, DTC C1B14 and C1B24 are stored.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area Warning Indicate Return-to-normal Condition
C1B14 Stroke Sensor Circuit All conditions are met:
  • The engine switch is on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 9 V or higher.
  • A malfunction in the stroke sensor is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds or more.
  • Rear steering link assembly
  • DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU)
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again
C1B24 Stroke Sensor(Actuator Angle Indeterminate) All conditions are met:
  • 0.5 seconds or more elapse after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 V or higher.
  • A malfunction in the stroke sensor is detected.
  • Rear steering link assembly
  • DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU)
Comes on Engine switch on (IG) again
