DTC C1C6B-87: Advanced Drive Camera (Telephoto) Image Signal (ch1) Missing Message; DTC C1C6C-87: Advanced Drive Camera (Telephoto) Image Signal (ch2) Missing Message; DTC C1C6E-87: Image Signal (Advanced Drive Camera (Telephoto) to Advanced Drive Control Module) Missing Message; DTC C1C6F-87: Image Signal (Advanced Drive Control Module to Advanced Drive eXtension Control Module) Missing Message [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. The temperature of the camera may be high, so wait for 15 minutes with the air conditioning turned on to cool it.
    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Advanced Drive eXtension Control > Clear DTCs 

    3. Wait at least 5 minutes.
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Advanced Drive eXtension Control > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1C6B-87 is output A
      DTC C1C6C-87 is output B
      DTCs C1C6B-87, C1C6C-87 and C1C6E-87 are output C
      DTCs C1C6B-87, C1C6C-87 and C1C6F-87 are output D

    1. Replace the advanced drive camera with a new one.

  4. REPLACE ADVANCED DRIVE CAMERA 
    1. Replace the advanced drive camera with a new one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  5. CHECK DTC

    REPLACE ADVANCED DRIVE EXTENSION ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ADVANCED DRIVE ECU ASSEMBLY - ADVANCED DRIVE CAMERA) 
    1. Disconnect the L245 advanced drive ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the N38 advanced drive camera connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L245-1 (TC1L) - N38-4 (LV2L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L245-2 (TC1H) - N38-3 (LV2H) Always Below 1 Ω
      L245-3 (LC1H) - N38-2 (LV1H) Always Below 1 Ω
      L245-4 (LC1L) - N38-1 (LV1L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L245-1 (TC1L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L245-2 (TC1H) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L245-3 (LC1H) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L245-4 (LC1L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L245-5 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  7. REPLACE ADVANCED DRIVE CAMERA

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ADVANCED DRIVE ECU ASSEMBLY - ADVANCED DRIVE EXTENSION ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the L244 advanced drive ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the L247 advanced drive extension ECU assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L244-1 (TCLC) - L247-1 (TC2L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L244-2 (TCHC) - L247-2 (TC2H) Always Below 1 Ω
      L244-3 (LCHC) - L247-3 (LC2H) Always Below 1 Ω
      L244-4 (LCLC) - L247-4 (LC2L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L244-1 (TCLC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L244-2 (TCHC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L244-3 (LCHC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L244-4 (LCLC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L244-5 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
