How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the ignition switch off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CXPI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the GTS, check the CXPI communication function to ensure that there are no malfunctions in the communication system.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2023 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      No DTCs output
      DTCs output

    Result: 

    DTCs output 

    GO TO CXPI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2023 - ]

    No DTCs output

  4. CHECK VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (RoB)* 
    1. Using the GTS, check for Vehicle Control History (RoB).
      1. Semiconductor power integration ECU

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 1 > Utility 

        Tester Display
        Vehicle Control History (RoB)
      2. No. 2 semiconductor power integration ECU (w/ PTC Heater)

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 2 > Utility 

        Tester Display
        Vehicle Control History (RoB)
      3. Power distribution box assembly

        Body Electrical > Power Distribution Box > Utility 

        Tester Display
        Vehicle Control History (RoB)
    2. If the vehicle control history is output, record it.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Vehicle Control History (RoB) is not output A
      Vehicle Control History (RoB) is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (RoB)*. Refer to  VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (RoB) [10/2023 - ]

  5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTCs and make a note of any codes that are output.
    2. Clear the DTCs.
      1. Semiconductor power integration ECU

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 1 > Clear DTCs 

      2. No. 2 Semiconductor power integration ECU (w/ PTC Heater)

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 2 > Clear DTCs 

      3. Power distribution box assembly

        Body Electrical > Power Distribution Box > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs.
      1. Semiconductor power integration ECU

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 1 > Trouble Codes 

      2. No. 2 Semiconductor power integration ECU (w/ PTC Heater)

        Body Electrical > Power Integration No. 2 > Trouble Codes 

      3. Power distribution box assembly

        Body Electrical > Power Distribution Box > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Proceed to
      No DTCs output
      DTCs output

    Result: 

    DTCs output 

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2023 - ]
