DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ]

      Body Electrical > Master Switch > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > D-Door Motor > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > P-Door Motor > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > RL-Door Motor > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > RR-Door Motor > Clear DTCs 

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ]

      Body Electrical > Master Switch > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > D-Door Motor > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > P-Door Motor > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > RL-Door Motor > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > RR-Door Motor > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2312 is not output.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check the parts which the DTCs have been output from.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the M10 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the M2 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M10-20 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      M10-15 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-10 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-7 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  5. REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the L11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the L2 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L11-5 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L11-8 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L11-4 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L2-10 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L2-4 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L2-7 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  11. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR LH DOOR) 
    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH door).

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH door).

      Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ]

      Result

  12. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY [FOR REAR LH DOOR] - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the O1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH door) connector.
    2. Disconnect the O2 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O1-5 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O1-4 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O1-8 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O2-10 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O2-7 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O2-4 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the N1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    2. Disconnect the N2 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      N1-5 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N1-4 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N1-8 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
