DTC U0073: Control Module Communication Bus OFF [05/2019 - ]: Description

The 4WD ECU assembly outputs a DTC when transmission of the signal from the 4WD ECU assembly is not completed.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0073 Control Module Communication Bus OFF
  1. When the following continues for 5 seconds or more:
    • Signals from the 4WD ECU assembly are not received.
  2. When the following occurs 10 times consecutively:
    • A communication malfunction (bus off) occurs one or more times within 0.1 seconds.
  • CAN communication system
  • 4WD ECU assembly
