Inspection [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

- INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 2.32 to 2.59 kΩ 80°C (176°F) 0.310 to 0.326 kΩ NOTE:If checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to contact the terminals. After checking, wipe the water off the engine coolant temperature sensor.
*a Component without harness connected
(Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor)If the result is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
