DTC C1A41: Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Description
The brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) receives brake control request signals from the ECM and driving support ECU assembly.
When the request signals received from the ECM and driving support ECU assembly are not consistent, the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly.
If the driving support ECU assembly receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41 is stored. Although the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly, the vehicle stability control system does not store a relevant DTC.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| C1A41 | Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU | When the cruise control switch is on and the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 36 km/h (22 mph) or more, the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) detects a significant difference in the brake request signals from the ECM and driving support ECU assembly for 1 second or more. |
