DTC C1A41: Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU [11/2017 - 03/2019]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
5. Check for DTCs.

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output	A
   Vehicle stability control system DTCs are output	B

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2017 - 03/2019]

4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
5. Check for DTCs.

GO TO SFI SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2017 - 05/2018]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [05/2018 - 03/2019]

1. Replace the ECM with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Radar Cruise > Clear DTCs 

2. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

   HINT: 

   If the following conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

   1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
   2. Wait for 1 second or more.
3. Check for DTCs.

   Powertrain > Radar Cruise > Trouble Codes 

   Result

1. Replace the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) with a new one.
