Disassembly [09/2014 - 03/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the rear light socket and wire with the back-up light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

    2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE 
    1. for Type A:
      1. Disconnect the connector to remove the rear light socket and wire.

    2. for Type B:
      1. Disengage the rear light socket and wire from the slit.

      2. Disconnect the connector to remove the rear light socket and wire.
  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET LH 
    1. Remove the rear light gasket LH.

      *A for Type A *B for Type B
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear light gasket LH from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket LH. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket LH to prevent water ingress.
  4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Remove the 3 rear light gaskets.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.
