Replacement [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE 
    1. Pull up the holder of the front wiper blade.

      *1 Front Wiper Arm *2 Front Wiper Blade
      *a Holder - -
    2. Remove the front wiper blade from the front wiper arm as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Do not lower the front wiper arm with the front wiper blade removed. The arm tip may damage the windshield surface.

  2. REMOVE WIPER RUBBER 
    1. Remove the wiper rubber with the front wiper rubber backing plates from the front wiper blade.

    2. Remove the 2 front wiper rubber backing plates from the wiper rubber.

  3. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER 
    1. Install the 2 front wiper rubber backing plates to the wiper rubber.

      NOTE:
      • Align the protrusions on the wiper rubber and the notches of the backing plates.
      • Align the curves of the backing plates and the windshield glass.
    2. Install the wiper rubber with the front wiper rubber backing plates to the front wiper blade as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Push the wiper rubber and front wiper backing plates into the front wiper blade strongly to engage them securely.

  4. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE 
    1. Install the front wiper blade and push down the holder of the front wiper blade as shown in the illustration.
