DTC C1240: Yaw Rate Sensor Discrimination [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)
- Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.
OK
Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.
Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

- Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 11/2017]
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Check if the same DTC is output.

Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes
