DTC C1582: Assist Map Number Mismatch [09/2014 - 08/2016]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 08/2016]

1. Check if the related part has the correct part number.

   Related Part

   NOTE:

   When removing a related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.

   • ECM

     Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

2. If DTC C1582 is output and parts have not been replaced, replace the power steering ECU assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.
   NOTE:

   If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing, rotation angle sensor initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration.

   Refer to CALIBRATION [09/2014 - 03/2019]
