TC and CG Terminal Circuit [09/2014 - 03/2019]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2017 - 03/2019]

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

2. Replace the ECM.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

3. Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.
   • SST: 09843-18040 
   NOTE:

   Connect the terminals properly to avoid a malfunction.

4. Check that the EPS warning light is blinking.

   OK

   The EPS warning light is blinking.

   HINT: 

   If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part.

   Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2014 - 03/2019]

REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] 

1. Disconnect the A77 ECM connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   O8-13 (TC) - A77-19 (TC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O8-13 (TC) or A77-19 (TC) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
