DTC C1299: Cancellation of 4WD Control [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Check that there has been no unintended vehicle usage.

   OK

   There is no evidence of rough use (the vehicle has not been driven on damaged or snowy roads, etc. for long periods of time).

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2019 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Check if vehicle stability control system DTCs are output.

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

2. Inspect the suspension, ball joints, etc. for rattles.

3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more and check that the same DTC is output.
