DTC P0192: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input; DTC P0193: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input [10/2015 - ]: Description

The fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side) is installed on the fuel delivery pipe with sensor assembly LH. The fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side) changes the fuel pressure into an electrical signal and sends the signal to the ECM assembly. If the sensor output stops, the ECM assembly will stop the fuel pump assembly (for high pressure side) and supply fuel using the fuel pump (for low pressure side).

  • Open or short in fuel pressure sensor (high pressure side) circuit
  • Fuel delivery pipe with sensor assembly LH (fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side))
  • ECM assembly

HINT: 

When any of these DTCs are output, check fuel pressure (for high pressure side) in the Data List. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Fuel Press.

  • Short in PR circuit to ground
  • Short in PR circuit to EPR circuit
  • Open in VCPR circuit
Approximately 33000 kPag or higher
  • Short in VCPR circuit to PR circuit
  • Open in PR circuit
  • Open in EPR circuit
