Installation [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Clean and degrease the installation bolt holes on the automatic transmission assembly and transfer assembly.
2. Align the knock pins and knock pin holes on the automatic transmission assembly and transfer assembly and install them.

   NOTE:

   • Be careful not damage the transfer front case oil seal.
   • Be careful not to drop the transfer assembly.
   • Be sure to perform this procedure with several people as the transfer assembly is very heavy.
   • Make sure there are no oil leaks.
3. Install the transfer assembly with the 11 new bolts.

   Torque: 22.5 N.m (229 kgf/cm, 17 ft.lbf)

1. Install the rear engine mounting member with the 3 nuts.

   Torque: 41 N.m (418 kgf/cm, 30 ft.lbf)

2. Connect the No. 2 parking release cable bracket sub-assembly to the rear engine mounting member using the 2 nuts.

   Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf)
