Test Mode Procedure [09/2014 - 09/2020]

HINT: 

When the system enters test mode, "DRS Test Mode" is displayed on the multi-information display.

1. Activate Test Mode (using Techstream).
   1. Turn the engine switch off.
   2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
   3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
   4. Turn the Techstream on.
   5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / DRS / Utility / Check Mode.

      Chassis > DRS > Utility 

      Tester Display
      Check Mode

2. End Test Mode (using Techstream).
   1. Turn the engine switch off.
   2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
   3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
   4. Turn the Techstream on.
   5. Switch the system from test mode to normal mode by following the directions on the Techstream screen.
3. Activate Test Mode (using SST check wire).
   1. Turn the engine switch off.
   2. Using SST, connect terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.
      • SST: 09843-18040 
      NOTE:

      Connect the terminals correctly to avoid a malfunction.

   3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. End Test Mode (using SST check wire).
   1. Turn the engine switch off.
   2. Disconnect SST from the DLC3.

   3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      HINT: 

      If the engine switch is turned on (IG) with terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) connected, the system remains in test mode.
