DTC C1299: Cancellation of 4WD Control [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Check that there has been no unintended vehicle usage.

   OK

   There is no evidence of rough use (the vehicle has not been driven on damaged or snowy roads, etc. for a long time).

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Check if the electronically controlled brake system DTC is output.

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   Result

   Only DTC C1299 is output	A
   DTC C1299 and other DTCs (electronically controlled brake system DTC) are output	B

3. Inspect the drive shaft and propeller shaft rotation condition.
