Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the O140 radio receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the O128 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Radio Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of wire harness connector
      (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O140-2 (US1-) - O128-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      O140-3 (US1+) - O128-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      O140-5 (USG1) - O128-5 (USG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      O140-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O140-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O140-5 (USG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2014 - 11/2017]
