Customize Parameters [01/2023 - ]

  1. CUSTOMIZE PLUG-IN CHARGE CONTROL SYSTEM 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the multi display
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Select the Settings tab in the multi display.
      3. Enter the following menus: Vehicle customise / Charging.
      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Description Default Setting Relevant ECU
        Charging Current Changing the upper limit of the charging current. Max Max / 16A / 8 A Plugin charge control ECU
        Charging Limit The upper limit for charging amount can be changed. Full Full / 90% / 80% / 70% / 60% / 50%
        Connector Lock Charging connector lock setting can be changed. Auto lock Auto lock / Auto lock & Unlock / Off
        DC Charging Power DC charging power upper limit can be changed. Max Max / 125kW / 100kW / 75kW / 50kW
        Battery Cooler Setting traction battery cooling on/off. ON ON / OFF Battery ECU assembly
        Battery Warming Setting traction battery warming on/off. ON ON / OFF
  2. SETTING CHARGING SCHEDULE 
    1. Setting with the multi display
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Select the Vehicle tab in the multi display.
      3. Enter the Charging Schedule menu.
        Display Description Default Setting Relevant ECU
        Charging Schedule Setting the timer charging schedule. -
        • Scheduled events
        • Charge now
        Plugin charge control ECU
      4. Touch the "Add" or "Edit" button to set the scheduled events.
  3. SETTING "Charge Now" 

    HINT: 

    • When "Charge Now" is set to on, the registered charging schedule is temporarily canceled and plug-in AC charging started immediately after connecting AC charging cable.
    • If charging schedules are registered and "Charge Now" is on and AC charging cable is disconnected, "Charge Now" will be off.
    1. Setting with the multi display
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Select the Vehicle tab in the multi display.
      3. Enter the Charging Schedule menu.
      4. Turn "Charge Now" to on.
