Fouled Spark Plug Check
- Remove distributor cap. Connect 500V DC megohmmeter between each spark plug wire at distributor and engine ground.NOTE: If megohmmeter is not available, proceed to Power Balance Check .
- If reading is more than 50 megohms, spark plug is OK. If less than 50 megohms, check spark plug wire. If good, replace spark plug.
