Coolant Temperature Switch Test
With engine temperature at least 122°F (50°C), disconnect temperature switch connector. Attach one lead of ohmmeter to coolant temperature switch (on block under intake plenum) and the other to ground. See Fig 1 . If switch is okay, it will show continuity. Remove ohmmeter and install electrical connector.
