Fuel Line Restriction Test
- Install a 0-30 in Hg vacuum gauge in series with inlet line of electric pump. See Fig 1 . With the engine running, the gauge reading should not be higher than 5.7 in Hg at idle.
- If the reading is incorrect, make the same check at the inlet of fuel conditioner. If the reading is too high, repair restriction of fuel line. If the reading is okay, replace the fuel filter.
