Wiper Motor Current Draw
Motor can be bench tested, or tested on vehicle (with linkage disconnected). Connect ammeter leads. See Fig 1 . Connect a jumper wire between battery negative terminal post and low speed terminal on motor end plate. Read current draw. Connect jumper to high speed terminal and read current draw. In both cases, current draw should not exceed 3.5 amps.
