Test E - Power Locks: Description

This test checks power door lock operation. The battery must be fully charged before beginning. Locate problem in the following chart and go to appropriate step.

• If linkage needs lubrication, go directly to step 1).
• If none of the door locks work, go to step 2).
• If one or more locks do not work, go to step 9).
• If one or more switches do not work, go to step 13)
• If locks will only lock or unlock, go to step 15)
• If locks work intermittently, go to step 18)
• If locks do not work in freezing weather, go to step 19).
• If locks work only with engine running, go to step 20).
