Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Unplug EVO control module 14-pin connector. Inspect wiring harness for damage. Ensure the following wires correspond to the following pin numbers. See Figure for terminal identification.
    • Red wire (circuit No. 633) in pin No. 1.
    • Brown wire (circuit No. 634) in pin No. 6.
    • Yellow/Black wire (circuit No. 837) in pin No. 12.
  2. If damaged or transposed wires exist, service wires and go to QUICK TEST A1  . If wires are okay, go to QUICK TEST C3  .
